Mumbai-based diversified business entity Wadhawan Group today said it expects to bring at least two leading international fashion brands in India by next quarter for which is it in talks with up to five labels.The group's arm, Wadhawan Lifestyle Retail that currently sells global brands such as Adolfo Dominguez, Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy through licensing agreement in India, is targetting a revenue of Rs 100 crore in the next three years."We are currently talking to 4-5 international
fashion brands and expect to finalise deals with at least two by the next quarter," Wadhawan Lifestyle Retail CEO Gaurav Modwel told PTI without naming them.
He said besides expanding the portfolio of international brands, the company also plans to launch its own label in a couple of years.
Wadhawan Lifestyle Retail closed last fiscal with a total turnover of Rs 20 crore.
"In the next three years, we expect the turnover to increase to at least Rs 100 crore," Modwel said.
Besides eyeing new brands, the company has also put in place expansion plans for Adolfo Dominguez and Ed Hardy.
"Ed Hardy was launched in India about two-and-half years back. It is currently sold at 20 points of sale (POS). Going ahead, we are looking to increase its presence in tier I and II cities and add 30 new POS by March next year," he said.
For Ed Hardy outlets expansion, the plan is to invest up to Rs 35 crore.
For Adolfo Dominguez, the company is gradually looking to increase the number of outlets. The brand has only one outlet in India located here in the Capital.
